Ways We Help

At the present time Red Soil is supporting school kids in rural Zimbabwe. In the past we have been able to donate and help over 600 school kids just outside of Harare. We are able to do this with the help of Beauty of Africa, a registered non-profit based in Vancouver, BC.

Beauty of Africa promotes the welfare of all Africans living abroad as well as showcases the beauty of African culture through their Annual Black Tie Beauty of Africa Gala in Calgary, Alberta.

Red Soil donates its leftover fabric to a volunteer group in Victoria, BC called African AIDS Angels. These local volunteers make small cloth angels by hand, and these angels are exchanged for donations. Ninety-five percent of funds raised are sent directly to support children and families seriously affected by HIV/AIDS.
